Meditation in Corrections delivers structured, 10-day silent Vipassana meditation courses inside correctional facilities. These courses are fully funded and volunteer-run. What is taught offers a four-part curriculum: ethical discipline, breath concentration, insight meditation by observing bodily sensations, and the practice of loving-kindness. Together, these build mindfulness, emotional resilience, and self-awareness to support rehabilitation.
In addition to resident programs, 10-day Vipassana courses are also offered for correctional employees, held at established meditation centers across North America and worldwide. These courses provide staff with the same opportunity for deep personal growth and balance, strengthening both individual well-being and institutional culture.
