Vipassana meditation is a simple training in awareness, calm, and wise action. It is non-sectarian, open to all backgrounds, and taught inside the facility at no cost to you or the facility

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Duration

  • Courses are 10
    full days
  • It extends from day 0 to day 11

Structures Schedule

  • Structured daily schedule (4:30 am–9:00 pm)
  • Full silence, no reading, writing, media or any outside contact

Ethical Precepts

Abstain from:

  • Killing any beings
  • Stealing
  • All sexual activity
  • Telling lies
  • All intoxicants

Boundaries

  • Physicall separate space within the facility

What is Vipassana

You learn to observe your breath and bodily sensations without reacting. This builds self-awareness, emotional balance, and ethical conduct, which supports better choices day to day.

What you will get out of it

Residents often report less anxiety and anger, improved impulse control, more cooperation, and a steadier mind. Some facilities have also observed drops in problem behaviors.

Who can join

Participation is completely voluntary. There are no rewards for joining and no penalties for not joining. You apply, complete brief orientations, and are selected in collaboration with facility staff and course teachers.

What the 10-day course looks like

Courses are held inside the facility, with a quiet, separated area for practice, meals, and rest. The daily rhythm is structured and supportive.
